ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාතික ඡායාරූප කලා සංගමය විසින් 2018 වර්ෂය සඳහා සංවිධානය කරන 42 වන වාර්ෂික ඡායාරූප තරඟය හා ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ සමාරම්භක උත්සවය අද දිනයෙදි කොළඹ 07 ජේ. ඩී .ඒ පෙරේරා කලා ගාරයේදි ඉතා උත්කර්ශවත් ලෙස පැවැත්විය.
මෙම ඡායාරූප ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ සමාරම්භක උත්සවයට ගරු අරාධිතයා ලෙස ප්‍රවීන නාට්‍යවේදී ලුෂන් බුලත්සිංහල සූරීන් සභාගි විය.
වසර 68 ඉතිහාසය තුළ පැවැත්වෙන 42 වන ජාතික ඡායාරූප ප්‍රදර්ශනය ජුනි 15, 16 සහ 17 යන දින වල පෙරවරු 9:00 සිට පස්වරු 6:00 දක්වා ජේ, ඩී, ඒ පෙරේරා කලා ගාරයේදි මහජන ප්‍රදර්ශනය සඳහා විවෘතවේ.
මෙම ප්‍රදර්ශනයේ සූවිශේෂිම අංගය වන්නේ ලංකාවේ ප්‍රථම වරට ජාතික මට්ටමෙන් ප්‍රදර්ශනය වෙන ජංගම දුරකතන ඡායාරූප අංශයයි.
